Light Shines ThroughA new survey has shown that the West Midlands is one of nine UK regions that recorded private sector growth for the end of 2011. Andy Youngman, area director for Lloyds TSB Commercial in Birmingham, said: "The West Midlands ended 2011 on a positive note, continuing to outperform the UK overall in December". akpr recognises this as good news for the region and a positive start for 2012. It is good to see that amongst the gloom we are starting to see new growth and some light breaking through. We have a long way to go on the journey to recovery and hard times remain ahead but it is important for business to focus on the positive in order to maintain morale. |
